Hey, my name is Nicco. I just traded in my built 1999 Trans Am for a 2001 Lightning, and I couldn't be happier. I didn't have the time or money to finish the Trans Am, and I got bored with it. The truck is a lot more useful to me. I look forward to learning a lot.

Welcome man. If you want a mod, I have a pulley just sitting here.

Well...theres my old 4lb and I have 6lb too, BUT intended on using it the 6 but I don't know when...BUT since I have an interchanable upper now with a 2.8 and plus my current 5lber, I can just swap top. to make it up.

I have belts and all too. And removal tool, but thats mine lol. (my bro has a Harley Davidson Edition that still needs pulley swapped)

Not a sales pitch, but if you felt like making a day out of it and making your truck fast at the same time, I'd be game.

How much for the pulley, belt, and the swap? How far are you from Schiller Park? What would I need to safely run a 4lb pulley?

With a 4lb it is PROBABLY best to have at the VERY least a canned tuned Predator or SCT X3. Those tunes will richen you up good enough. BUT I have heard of people running them stock too. But with the cold winter weather I don't know if you wanna risk it? It's totally up to you.

I live WAY down south in Streator, but wouldn't mind coming by to help you out. Sounds kinda fun actually. Let me know when is good for you. Fridays. or Sundays?

PM me a price.

I don't have the greatest array of tools. I'll probably wait til I can afford a tuner because I can't risk blowing the truck up, lol.

Well just let me know. And you don't need much for tools. I'd bring them anyways. You just need ramps, which I have as well.

Wait til spring.
Won't be able to use the extra power during the winter anyway

I've been using mine in the rain again, since my DD got totaled.
I forgot how bad it is in the rain and cold pavement.

Yea, I'm probably going to stockpile some parts over winter and then go crazy in the spring. My truck has done OK so far in the rain. As long as I don't floor it, I'm good. However, in the rain, it will get sideways if you nail it from below 50. Not gonna do that again. lol I"m looking to pick up a set of cheap winter wheels and some sand bags. Winterizing mod FTW!

cheap wheels with bridgestone blizzaks will do wonders in rain and snow.

Welcome to the club too.
