Does anybody know of any dealers in Illinois that still has some or one 2001 Lightning,even a 2002.Old silver is giving me fits here.My engine went so they put in a remanufactured engine,700 mile and rod knock,not cool.Took it to the dealership for evaluation,rods again,.This is just to much to go thru again so I'm starting fresh,another L and the sooner the better.If anyone has seen any on lots or knows of any around please let me know.....Lightning Bob,keep an eye peeled,same with you Rob,I'm getting the engine put in and stripping out the goodies then off to trade....as I said

Hey Jerry, Not sure the name of the dealer but it's on Harlem just north of 64 North Ave about a mile , seen aleast 3 red 2001s just last week.

Don't go by north & harlem, that's Jacobs Ford. They suck! Their con men. There's a reason have so many left. Never again will I go there! LLoyd

Wickstrom Ford in Barrington has a BEAUTIFUL true blue L on their lot right now. And I drive by Victor Ford in Wauconda every day and I know they've got a few there too. I think a white and a silver if I'm not mistaken.

Jerry,I'm not up your way right now,I'm at home in Florida but though I would mention that Rod Baker in Plainfield ILL seems to always have one around.They have always seemed to be good people to. Good Luck. Lawson
