Since Cordova has closed???...we are trying to get together in the Quad Cities in the 9th of Dec. J-Man, RobG, BigD.....and are IN

Who else is planning to come, Jerry will coordinate the "meeting", as I will be out of the country next week. I expect Baby Jake, Reality1, Lightning Bob, lightninglar, and...

...anyone else that wants to have a good time, to come. We hope for good weather...and great girls...er, ah, "hostesses"

I'll ride with you, but my L's tranny is tweaked again and I hope to god that I can get it fixed under warrenty??!?!?!

fords not fixing it either!

I guess the beast is going to be up on crutchs for a few months. I'm figureing that this is going to cost about 1900 bucks for all the parts.

But this tranny will be built proof according to fatory tech. It should give me some E.T. gain with the kit and converter also. I hope anyway.

Does your trans have that 1F stamp on it ??? If it does it must stand for 1 Fu***d up POS !!! New higher stall converter ( make sure it's a Precision Industries piece ) and the valve body makes a world of difference in these trannies. I've got over 20,000 miles on the P.I./JDM converter and the tranny is holding up great. Better luck Joe.

Ok guys,

I'm presently out at JDM picking up my Cobra.
RobG twisted my arm all of the way here to make sure I show up in the Quad Cities next weekend for some beer and chicken wings. I'm in, if I don't have to work, and if there are accomodations available for us at the local Ritter-Carlton (Jim and Nancy may not have us again after the last time). I may have to bring my car rather than my truck as the novelty of having something faster than the Lightning may not be worn off yet.
