Question Winter???

I know, I know its too early to think about it but i just got my L 4 months ago and I was wondering how the G2's ride in the snow or should I start saving up for a beater???

i have a G1, but i wouldnt think the G2's are any better in the snow, somehow 2 wheel drive, goodyear F1's and a blower dont mix in snow.
i would opt for a beater. let me know if you are looking for a car, i sometimes come across decent cheap cars.

Later,

Anthony

The Gen2's in the snow around here suck major donkey balls. You don't even want to try it with 800 pounds of sand in the back either. I did and it was horrible.

The only way you can drive this truck in the snow is if you buy some new winter tires, then its OK. I know a few guys who do this and they say it works out well for them.

Me, I just park my baby for the winter's. its really the only time I can pull the motor out and not loose any driving time.

I'm gonna say the beater looks like a good idea, Any car or truck that's running 13s and not 4x4 is gonna be hard to drive in the snow. Unless you have some killer skillz

I had to do it all last year, never missed a day of work. So thanks for the comment on my killer skillz . I don't want to do it agian, but it was fun to drive sideways down streets all the time .

I picked up a Bronco II beater last winter. Don't drive the L, If you hit a little ice patch under power it's bye-bye Lightning! Keeps the salt off too. If you do decide to drive it, get a regular set of tires for the winter. LLoyd
