Any way it's that time of year again and great Lakes Dragaway is having their Annual Fun Ford Day on Sunday, August 12th. The mustang club I am sort of a member in is sponsoring it.
There will be lots of Ford classes(lightning one included) to run, and a car/truck show as well. Ok, here is some more info on the event... www.greatlakesdragaway.com
Gates will open at 9am
The track will be open to test and tune until approx. 1pm when elimination's will start for the race classes.
$27 to race
$11 to be a spectator
$20 to show your car. That includes your admission fee to the track
I have been told that all class info will be posted up on GLD's web site later this week!
Post up if you can attend

I regretfully must inform you that my truck might not attend the event. I blew out the head gasket and am fixing it, but right now it's gonna rain and I am outside so my working time is cut short. I don't know if I can finnish in 2 days but I'll try. What mods have you done recently? It's not a true ford only event but expect to not get that many runs in if you go. Come on out if you like.

sorry to hear about the head gasket. it just got done raining like a mo-fro up here... truck is the same as the last time i saw you... nothings changed. cept the oil and tires, lol. about to be dropped 2/3 and im working on a leather interior. takin a *small* break from performance.

i dont like running at great lakes anyways... the track sux, the people suck, and well.. it just plain sux! but if it sux for everyone, i suppose its okay then lol. byron?

welcome and i agree with you fully on the great lakes thing, after racing byron, great lakes is a proven "hole".

lol... i saw a red 95 lightning with 12k on the odo at a local dealer a while back.. i was tempted, but ill stay where i am for now.
