security locked ignition

Need help. Had to leave my 2003 Lightning in a parking lot overnight. I unlocked the drivers door with remote but when I turned the key in the ignition the truck would not turn over. The theft light came on and the blue light under the steering wheel was flashing. Attempted to lock and unlock the vehicle with the remote but all I heard was chirping under the dash. Is there a way to reset the security system with my remote? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
