HELP?? tapping noise from bottom front of motor

i have a tapping noise coming form the front of my motor. i have 0 mods but am planning to mod soon but im trying to figure this out. its a 02 with 56,200 and ive been told that it could be timing chain lash or the bottom pulley moving. you can only here it at idle cuz once you hold it at 2000 rpm it goes away. but im seeing alot of wear on my idlers and the belt slippage is horrible. my bottom pulley moves a little but im just trying to get this all figured out. can someone help me out???
