What is the odometer trick

I head there is a trick that you can do with the odometer to get it to read the fuel pressure and a few other different monitoring features. Can someone please enlightening me how to do that? Thanks

I am not 100% sure, but I think if you hold the reset button while you turn the ignition you can see a digital tach, your speed and something else.

Its a test for the ECM.

Hold the button for 5 seconds, place key in ignition, then start the truck (ALL WHILE HOLDING THE BUTTON)
