| Registered User Paid Member | Cold Air Kit I got tired of the cold air hose rubbing on a sharp right turn, so I took out the drivers side fender liner and looked things over.I drilled a 3-3 1/2 inch hole with a hole saw in the radiator bracket, and routed the flex tubing out through it to the fresh air duct at the grill. It works perfect and no more worrys about cleaning off the duct on a curb, or being to low with lowered trucks, etc.Your also less likely to suck up gallons of water with all the flooding weve had, and less hose snaking all over the engine compartment.Works like a champ. |

| Registered User | If you need pics check out Harley#356 over on NHTOC. JLP redesign the tube to mount to the front of the truck(behind the grill) and not on the lower portion. Found the link http://www.nhtoc.com/vbforum/how-art...new-style.html Last edited by grey; 03-11-2009 at 03:59 PM.. |
