Side Moulding Removal

Will the Side Moulding remove easily from the truck? I would assume it uses adhesive and would be easy since I very seldom see them on a Lightning.

If you want to remove them be sure to look around the edge of the moulding to make sure that they have not been painted around,If they have you will not want to remove them unless you intend to do some paint work. When we remove mldgs at the shop I pull them off some time using a narrow putty knife but am careful not to scratch the paint.Another thing you may want to consider is depending on the color of your truck where the mldg was may be darker especially the Gen 1s without clearcoat.Several tool company make mldg removal tools.

Thanks for the input, Truck is original paint and is clearcoated. I will be sure to check before I start removing.

I used fishing line, acts like a saw, then used Good off to get off the sticky junk.

After all that I did the clay bar and wax routine.
