| Guest |  ok, i now know that everyone thinks that i am messed up in the head..lol.... anyways.. the hood that is being made is of the same quality if not better than a cervini's hood, it also has the same liner as a cervini's hood...unless there is something else about the cervini's hood that i dont know...but to the best of my knowledge... it has the same type of liner... ------------------ 00 Silver Lightning 98 Svt Contour Silver knock down the strong, trample the weak, hurdle the dead!!! |

| Guest | that hood you took pictures of looks just like the cervinis hood the 3 in ...is it? and that reflections hood by godfathers custom s is advertised soi guess they are making it again ...it is in the new truckin mag saw it last night ....thanks for any info on the hood.later red99 |

| Guest | no it is not a cervini's hood... nor is it a reflexxion hood... the hood in my honest opinoin is better than a cervini's hood because it is thicker in certain locations of stress points on the hood... which makes it more durable its not heavy either... its greek to me but he uses some type of fiber board or something like that.. since i am not a fiberglass guy i dont know the correct termaknowology... thanks for the responses guys... if anyone wants the hood pictured... email me.... what i mean is if anyone want the 3 inch cowl hood email me.. ------------------ 00 Silver Lightning 98 Svt Contour Silver knock down the strong, trample the weak, hurdle the dead!!! |

| Guest | i can do my best to weigh it...but i know that it is nowhere near the weight of the stock hood...nor will any other hood be as light as a stock hood if that is what you are looking for...the only way you could geta hood to be as light or lighter than a stock hood would be to get a carbon fiber pin on hood that is basically a skin of a hood..but even then the price wouldnt really warrant it... ------------------ son do you know why i pulled you over.... because you thought i had donuts in the car... 00 Silver Lightning 98 Svt Contour Silver |

| Guest | well i got pics of the hood installed...but i wont be ome till monday..so..will have to wait till then to post em..sorry guys...the hood is not painted...nor is it completely got all the kinks oout yet..but this is the first true hood made out of this mold...so it can only get better from here...the 3 inch lets you keep the same visablity as the stock hood basically..so i think that i might stick with this one...but will have to wait and see what the 4 looks like... ------------------ son do you know why i pulled you over.... because you thought i had donuts in the car... 00 Silver Lightning 98 Svt Contour Silver |

| Guest | The weight doesn't necesarily have to be as good or better than stock - didn't really expect it to be - but it's a common concern since I've heard the Cervini's is approx. 3 times the weight of the original. Still interested to know since now you've got the real thing. Thanks in advance for posting the pics when available. |

| Guest | well guys i took several pics but i didnt like how they came out..i am ging to post 2 of them..but i dont even really like how they came out either..but since i kept you waiting so long i figured i might as well.. this first one is a pic from the drivers seat looking out...and if you cant tell that the hood is on..if you look close in the left hand corner you can see one of the vents....but as you can tell that the cowl doesnt impare your vision of the road at all.. second one is a side pic but kind of dark for some reason... ------------------ son do you know why i pulled you over.... because you thought i had donuts in the car... 00 Silver Lightning 98 Svt Contour Silver |
