Thumbs up

If it's the 6 piston front, 4 piston back then count me in. Are they all stock Wildwood parts, or does it require new spindles? Also, will it fit inside the Gen1 wheels?

Yes, it's the 6 and 4 piston set up.
It does require us to send them our spindles and rear axles as they need to machine them to accept the new parts. It also includes a master cylinder.
I spoke to them this morning and will have pricing tonight or tomorrow.

I don't think they will do anything for the Gen 2. I hope to have pricing Wednesday as I'm in Las Vegas till Tuesday night. And at the rate I'm going I won't have any money left for the brakes!!!

Ok, we need a minimun of 3 people, you will need to send your rear axle's front spindel's and rotors for machining.
We get new front and rear rotors, 6 piston front calipers 4 piston rear's, Stainless steel front brake lines and a new master cylinder. $3800.00 is the price. I recived this info via voice mail. I will call them Wednesday when I get back to the office and try and negotiate a better price.
None the less pipe up if your interested so we can move ahead.

I'm still interested, but what's the turnaround time? After I send in my spindles and read axle, how long till I get them back? I would expect to get the parts I sent in back. Is this the case, or is it just a core exchange?

Damn that's a lot of money! I wish I had that kind of cash to throw at brakes. Sounds like a great kit from what I've read. It'd really help me out in SCCA. I'm still looking for money to scrounge up for a simple rear disc conversion, let alone 4 piston...

Good Luck & let us know how they turn out!

Ok, just spoke to Dennis at Central Coast Mustang.
The price is $3800.00 and here's why.
The price that was quoted in the artical 5 years ago was for parts only, no machine work. And there is a lot of machine work.
One thing I didn't know was, they have to get a blank hat from Wilwood and drill it for 5,5-1/2 spacing as well as machining the rear axles to accept the e-brake, this is a 100% complete kit.So bottom line is there is a lot of labor in here as well very expensive parts. This is the absolute best money can buy.

We need 3 people, I'm one so two more.
There isn't a big rush, so maybe if we have to wait a month for someone to get the funds we can. But we still need to know who is interested.

With the kind of money this upgrade is going to cost, I'd rather have them machine a new set of Strange axles. Anyone have any thoughts as to best way to bulletproof the rear end? Anyone know of any aftermarket spindles that keep the stock ride height, but are lighter/stronger?

So I guess it's safe to say no ones interested.
Maybe at a later time.

No, I'm interested, just waiting to see what happens. I'd be more interested if I could get the kit as a bolt on. Meaning that it came with new spindles and axels. I'd probably scrounge a set from the junkyard anyway and send them in.

The spindles are Lightning specific and hard to come by and the rear axle's are 31 spline.
Wilwood does not have any core's
We still need 1 maybe 2 more.
