Question FOR US ROOKIES AT THE STRIP?

we need some tips on "quarter mile'n".
on stock tires do you run stock air pressure
and do you feather the gas off the line, or just get on it? this is gonna be a kick in the ***..

Don't hammer it off the line. I tried that and spun for about 20 feet. Killed my time. I've heard go to 1/2 throttle for about 20-30' and then hammer it. This all depends on the track surface and if you are chipped or not.

For all of you that have never(or only once or twice) run on a 1/4 mile drag strip----you can go to Ls1.com--1/8 and 1/4 mile times--and look for 'Basic Racing tips'. This is info that is general and not specific to SDR--but is excellent--please read it.
