Anyone know the latest news out of Detroit about the Lightning?? just curious on an update.

Judging by this, I'd say several years at least. Sport Trac Adrenalin will sell better than the Gen2. It will convert some folks who would have bought a Lightning... leaving fewer to buy a Lightning. And there already were not enough Lightning buyers...

Plus the next Lightning cannot cost more than the Shelby Cobra GT500... and it can't outperform it by any measure... sooooo....

It's not that there were not enough Lightning buyers, it's that there were TOO MANY Lightnings built!
