I just read this in a Mustangs and Fast Fords magazine tonight, and was shocked. I am less than a week from buying my first Lightning, and was thinking an 03 or 04. Hearing this now, makes me believe buying an 04 would be the way to go, for collectors reasons. Not that I am ever going to sell my Lightning, but you never know. Thanks for the article and if anyone has any input, anything is appreciated at this point. I have also read something in the past about buying an 03 and at a certain date, they changed something in the heads? If this is accurate, any info would help if I end up finding an 03. Thanks again..........Sean

The 03 and up model they added more spark plug threads. Significant, yes. Huge? Depends on who you ask.
If I was buying right now, I'd look for an 03 or higher first.
