Good news. Seems like everything got blown out of proportion on this. Well at least I will still have the fastest Ford for a Little while Longer

His explanation makes the most sense. If they did 'push' to make the GenIII , it may end up like the 99 Cobra ... which no one wants.
Only time will tell.

Just remember that Colleti has an agenda. The "bean counters" have the final say-so, not him. He's the same person that has said the program was on target and on schedule in the past.
