New is SEMA F-150="lightning" mule

Hey, under the "pic of new lightning??" forum a couple of months ago, look at the wheels. Everyone was thinking it could be the next lightning mule. Nope. Look at the wheels of the SEMA F-150 and you will see they are the same! Somebody was right, it was a a powertrain mule of the new 450 HP engine, it just won't be in a lightning after all.

I havent seen any SVT affiliation with this FX Extreme F-150 yet. So maybe there is still hope for a new Lightning?

Unhappy It's no lightning

Well here are some pics of the Sema F-150, I hope the real Gen 3 lightning is better then this, because the stock gen 2 can probably beat this thing!

The AWD 500HP was called the Adrenaline........based off of the Sport Trac............If the Adrenaline was to be the replacement for the Lightning, Id buy one.........

I know for a fact the andrenaline was canceled for good. They said it wouldnt have worked and pushed the trucks capabilities to the limit. They are working on building a lightning and or type of lightning built off the f-150. I called SVT and got the downlow.

Yeah, I know the Adrenaline is a no-go, BUT, I still think that it was bada$$ while they thought about it..........GOOD idea when it lasted

Yeah, I'm hoping for an F150 platform. I know the Adrenaline was cancelled, but the reason I am optimistic is because the new HD is AWD. And if they were to make another Lightning, or the likes I'm sure it would have no less than the Shebly 5.4. So hopefully they would tie those two together.

I juts read in the new DEC 06 issue of Car and Driver about the F-150 Fx2 Sport... They said that this was just a truck for the show circuit, however Ford was quick to point out that all the parts are avaliabe in their Ford Racing catalog and you could build one of your own.
