| "Tommy Boy" | Is there a new liightning or not? Yesterday I was at the ford dealer getting work done on my explorer, and being in the market for a lightning, I asked a sales person if they had any on the lot, and he looked at me with a stupid/arrogant look, telling me they dont come out yet, and I asked him are you thinking of the adrenalin, and he tells me no ford canceled that until 08'. So I than asked him if had any older models on the lot and he bassicly told me to go away. So needless to say I wont be buying from him, but theres a sales person who I bought the explorer from who's really nice, so im going to ask him about this when I pick my explorer up. What do you guys think about this though? Thanks, Sean |

| Rikutsu-poi Paid Member | New Lightning as in the Gen3? If you'd read through here, there is no date planned, everything is speculative. And you won't find a new 'old' Lightning either. They stopped at the MY04, and they're selling MY06 now. Even the Adrenalin hasn't been put into concrete details. But, whichever way, remember that dealers usually know the least |

| "Tommy Boy" | Well I dont really like the concept idea at all, I really hate the look of everything about it, with the exception of the interior. The outside is to sporty looking, I wouldn't consider putting anything in the bed of it, just becuase It doesn't even look like a truck in my eyes. But I was just curious to see if there was a new one in the makings. I like the 03-04 production model the best. Thanks though, Sean |

They had to move production to the KC truck plant for reasons I don't know, and KC said no thanks, we'll stick with the regular trucks. Seems that the factory that assembles the truck has to eat the warranty repair costs and they had quite a bit of that at the Ontario plant. |

No they don't they are trying to please the STOCK HOLDERS! and if we make something you like in the mean while, well thats a plus. Ford at one time was going to give the stang name to the Probe and discontinue the V8 Stang! Who is running these companies. I guess you can't blame them thats whats its all about though. Right? |
