Talking Finally got the results I wanted

Back a few months ago I cleaned my IC (which was filthy) and installed a 2.8" upper, LFP dual idler bracket and boost bypass mod and a canned tune from a SCT X3 tuner. When I took the truck out my factory gauge would run up to 6-7 lbs and climb to a little over 8. My truck felt so much stronger that I figured it must be a crap factory gauge reading wrong. So I bought a phantom series boost gauge and got close to the same reading. In this time I also found that I had a leaking intercooler (YAY!!!! ) So today I was looking through some forums and seen where someone had a bad boost bypass actuator and was causing them to loose boost and one person said there's was adjusted wrong and would top out at 7 lbs so I looked up a how to on adjusting it, did it, took it out and 9-10+ lbs of boost, F YEAH BABY! I wanted to keep playing but I currently have the intercooler system drained and the pump unplugged waiting for the bank to fix it and it's only 44* out so I figured best to take it home and just be happy it works.

Good job working through that. Where was your boost bypass adjusted at before and after you dialed it in?

From what I can tell, whenever I put it all back together I just put it up there and bolted it on, so it was all the way down, now it's a little over half way up. You can definitely over look that if you don't know to do it.

Could you post the link to the instructions on how to do the adjustment? I will like to have them on file for when I start doing my mods
Thanks
Manny
