| Registered User Paid Member | hey Fordifaction you should come up to castrol on friday. i do not know of a svt or lightning club in alberta. should would be sweet to start one. maybe one day in the summer ill drive to calgary and come cruising with you. or if ur interested every thursday night here in red deer there is a car show at the parking lot behind super store off of gatez ave southbound. then after the car show some people all go cruising around red deer for a lil bit. be cool to have another lightning to cruise with, im getting a lil sick of cruising with a pack of mustangs all the time haha |

I will make it out to cayuga with you Sean, just now with this possible piston ring/valve stem issue, who knows when I will be able to. Spoke with JJ about it, if it is indeed a piston ring there are some products that may be able to fix it without tearing my motor apart. We'll find out! Anyway, I know the feeling of being the only L in a crowd of mustangs. Here in the Greater Toronto Area there are a surprising number of Lightnings, I count about 15-20 to date that I definately know of or have seen ripping by, but NONE are really into them, with the exception of maybe 3, I seem to be the only 'Enthusiast' that's within driving distance. Have fun EH! | |

| Registered User Paid Member | well guys, im sorry to dissapoint but i dont think i can make it to the strip on friday night. the lovely town of lacombe i work in thinks its not a good idea to post up wet paint signs when there painting the roads. so the whole passenger side of my truck has bright white paint all over it. rims, fender whells, side skirts, some on the door, the box, tires everywhere. I used scrtatchx and megiuars paint cleaner to get it off.. it helpd a lil but i had to use a good high power pressure washer at work. but the finder wheels are still covered in white paint and it looks horible. they half to come out to be cleaned real well and il probally re-paint the fender wheels. Anyway I wil be at the 100foot shoot out in rocky mountain house on saturday. Im sorry guys i had to let down the pack. But we should really start up some club for Lightnings, i think cobra's have there own club around here if im right. It would be cool. Have a local meeting somewhere different once a month. like one month calgary, one month e-town, one month red deer, maybe even banff who knows. anyway we should all get onto this club thing. |
