Oh i also wanted to let everyone know july 10-12 is street machine weekend in lethbridge. It would be nice to have as many lightnings as possible. I know for a fact theres me, my buddy chris from calgary (red lightning) and his buddy in his srt10truck. im leaving work that friday at noon. what this weekend is if u get there to register

friday night they shut down 3rd ave and maramagrath to only cruising thats it. then saturday is a 100ft shoot out and auto salaom.. then sunday is the car show. let me know if u guys gonna be able to make it. I think me and my gf are gonna stay at the Parkland Inn (i think thats whats it called) its $80 a night. it aint no big fancy dancy hotel. but for a hotel room that im only gonna be there at night anyway. it works for me and its cheap. Anyway figured id give u guys a heads up. let me know if you can make it.. maybe we can all meet up somewhere.

my bro always goes to the lethbridge cruise. their 100ft dash thing is kinda weak. but anything is good.

I think its important to keep this thread going so we can collect all the locals. otherwise they need to add us under the local chapters. any chance of maybe getting an all muscle truck club going, like with your buddy and his srt10? I know there's a massive amount of GCsrt8's.

I'd also be curious to see where everyone goes for tuning/parts, cause I soon would like a SCT+tune on the truck.

i hear ya buddy. but w/e. i played hookey from work today to clean up the truck lol. well I agree with this thread going. and a club would be cool. I got my truck tuned from Matt at Techmotions. He was a nice guy and loved the truck. i think somethings wrong in the tune tho, im running same times as last year and i got more power and drag radials lol.. oh well maybe the tire psi was way to low.. we'll see.. anyways you should come out to the 100ft shoot out in rocky mountain house on saturday Fordifaction. It be cool to see you. Me and jeff(has black lightning) will be there. be nice to have another lightning owner. maybe we can all go for a beer after or something

how much did the tune end up costing you?
and have you run your truck down the track yet? just wonder where my truck sits since all the times on this board are mostly near sea level.

tune costed me 500 bucks. it was a full almost day of tuning tho. I do think something in my tune is not right. Last year without drag radials and half the mods i have now i was running 13.4 in the 1/4. this year after modding it, im at the exact same time even with the new drag radials. but the last time i went to the track the tires were at like 15psi lol. so i think next time i go im gonna start with them at 32psi and slowly make my way down. i think 15psi was slowing me down on the top end. So i was thinking how about July 4th weekend we make a SVT Lightning meet in Sylvan Lake. If thats okay with everyone else. I figured Sylvan Lake because its in the middle with most people from e-town and calgary. if thats okay with everyone else. if you want a diff place to meet up post it up and we can talk about it im up for almost anywhere. figured its soposed to be real nice out, sylvan Lake is a nice place in the summer time, we could meet earliyish in the morning down at the beach so it doesnt get to busy for parking just yet. then we could all head into red deer for a lil cruise and get some food or something. Just an idea or thought. Anyway If everyone is up for this let me know. or if you think we should post the meet somewhere else then let us know. Anyway its getting late and i should be in bed when i got to work in the morning...

wow, 13.4 is a great time. what track was that at? race city's at 3600 and castrols at 2600 I think. what hp #'s are you running then? difference of about .4s. I'm bone stock and ran a 14.5. truck had 1100miles when I first bought it last year.

sylan lake might be doable.

edit: can you try another program with the diablo?

this was at castrol. ive never been to race city. I hope to break 12's. we'll see. I got some track bars now. Accrrding to matt at techmotions it made 510hp and 540tq at the crank. seems a lil high to me since dyno operators like big numbers but w/e.

When coming into sylvan off of Highway 11. turn right after the lights on the highway 11 close to sylvan Lake. head down Main street till you get to the very bottom of the hill. turn right at the lights and follow the road a little more than half way down the beach. Ill be out there bright and early.
