My buddy had a 02 WS6 with auto trans and he would run 13.20 all day in stock form. My wifes cousin had a 99 and striped the interior and all excess weight and he said he was running 11.0 with just a cam and bolt ons.

I'm pretty sure this was a LT1 with a slp exhaust....a different time and place, i might have tried to see what he had for me.

The LT1 went away when they changed the front clip in 98. Was it the pissed off Geo Storm front end or the bug eyes front end?

The shop that tunes my truck has an LS1 Camaro with weight reduction (even though it is still a heavy T-Top car), suspension, 12 bolt with 4.10's, stock tranny with a stall, stock bottom end with ported 5.3L heads and a big cam. It went a 10.92 at about 126mph a couple weeks ago. And they just started playing around with it! I believe it makes about 430hp to the tires through the big stall with just top end work and a tune.

And you have to look out for the stroker cars. There is a white street car with a 408ci making 512 whp on the motor that also sprays a 200 shot locally that is very mean. Here is a video of him versus my buddy's built evo.
