The design of the bag greatly affect the progressivness of the springrate.

Front shockwave (VERY progressive)

Rear 9000 series Shockwave (minimally progressive, at least compared to the front units or leafsprings)

I will be making/modifying jack plate mounts for the lower arm spring pocket, OR if need be will fab and weld on adjustable upper mounts that will take the place of the factory spring/shock perch/tower.

Shockwave shock dyno information for the double adjustable Varishock based Shockwave units.

This shows 0 clicks, 8 clicks, and 16 clicks, all at 12 ips Velocity equal to .3048 meters per second velocity.

Multiply all In/pound measurements by 0.1130 for the equivalent in Newton/meters

That is exactly what the fronts look like. The rears are individual bags.

Front

Rear

Very nice, those look to be rather linear in their springrates based on what I have been told and read, for the truck we unfortunatley need the double-bubble bags for the load rating or I would run the 9000 series front and back.

Sorry, I should have been more clear -- is there any way to adjust the ride height on the Shockwaves on a stock truck as delivered from ART without any fabrication?

Hey, a progressive spring rate is not optimal on the track, but will be damn nice for street duty (in your case, doing battle with the world-famous Bronx potholes).

No they are a fixed configuration that ART says will drop a stock F-150 2 inches at the normal ride height of the Shockwaves, since I already have the drop spindles I will need to make the mount at the top adjustable somewhat.

Not optimal for the track, but with the proper effort surely workable. And hell yes, my tush and GF will thank the sweet baby jesus for the air ride in pothole land.
