Take for consideration the suspension products that I have come out with. I paid very good money to have them developed by OTGP and they are of the absolute highest quality, but for the limited market that these products are for, I will be lucky if I make my initial investment back. Its not cheap to have one off stuff fabricated for production purposes. Making parts as you go along with a project is one thing, but to stop and make technical drawings, jigs and put togther a production line takes alot more time and money. JMHO, JJ@WMS

| Registered User | I understand that JJ, trust me I have your full front suspension set up on my list. While I have you on here and I know we talked about it earlier but are the long tubes worth the money or should I stay with the factory manifolds. If I do switch should I get the kooks or the dynotechs. I am going to install them myself.

The FR-500C Mustang, raced in the Grand Am series, and built by Multimatic is a beauty to watch at the track. The stability and speed of that car is astounding especially when you compare it to far more sophisticated hardware in that series. (The Porshe guys initially mocked it) Yet, I was amazed by its simplicity. Mutlimatic spent countless hours tuning that car on the chassis dyno and making sure every component matches perfectly. It can be found in the FRPP catalogue for the tidy sum of 225K. Massaging or tuning a suspension is one thing, but building a complete new set-up that really works is usually the result of significant sweat and tears. Often one more than the other.![]()

| Registered User | Winter is almost over-3 link worled great. I just wanted to report that winter is pretty much over in the Pacific Northwest, sorry to the rest of the country, and I just finished emptying my 250#s of sand from my Lightning. I checked my RaceRodz 3-link setup, greased the Watts linkage and want to report that it did extremely well over the winter. I have over 5000 miles on it in all types of weather and I am still amazed at how well it handles, especially on slick pavement. I am hoping to do some timed runs this spring to see how well it plants the tires. RaceRodz want me to bring the truck in, so we can pull the bed and check everything and possible tie the front link mount to the upper shock mounts. Hopefully, I can have this done by mid-May and be ready to start testing. I will keep everyone posted. |

| Registered User | Time to move on. I am moving on with my other projects and have decided to sell my Lightning. I have been extremely happy with it since RaceRodz of Medford built my 3 link rear suspension. I had hoped to get some free time to race this season, but a career change means that the Lightning will be taking back burner. I posted it for sale in the classified section if anyone is interested in continuing the project. Thanks for all of the support. |
