Question about 99 sideview mirrors

Alright on the 99 L's the side view mirrors are 1 color and many painted it 2 tone lk the 00 01 and 02's. My question is what kind of paint did you use and did you do it urself or did a shop do it thanx

I wasn't sure which post I should respond to. The 99's are just a solid black rough plastic, but the 2000's and up have the upper portion painted from the factory. The painted portion is smooth painted abs or something.
