Thumbs up First the Chip, Now the Mass Air; Also, Question About Magnaflow

Last weekend I had installed a flip chip from Danny Swanson and this morning I installed the Pro-M 80mm mass air and cone filter. What a combination! I love the even louder scream of the S/C.

One setting on the flip chip is stock and the other is a "street performance" setting which pulls stronger, shifts at higher RPM, and harder, but does not bang the gears hard. Much fun!

I have been considering the Mganaflow muffler in stainless. I understand it is not a straight bolt-in. What cutting and/or welding needs to be done?

TIA...

I still have the stock exhaust but I thought the Magnaflow was a 'bolt-on'?

I had my magnaflow put a few months back and the only thing that was done other than the muffler being welded on, was that two small adapter pipes were bent to weld the muffler to my stock tips. Other than that nothing else was done. The "in" part of the muffler welds directly to the stock pipes and the out needs the two small pipes for the tips come out where they should. Total price was $55 for the install.
