What comes with the Intercooler recall?

I was wondering what else comes with the intercooler recall besides the intercooler itself? Wouldn't the '01 lower intake also be included, since the recall IC has an extra row of cooling fins. Or can the recall IC fit in the original intake?

This seems to be different with every case but mine came with the new 01 ic and retrofitted intake. The dealer also had 10 new ford plugs installed on my invoice. Thats right 10 in an 8 cylynder.Actually they put none in and probably charged ford for the labor and parts to make up for reduced rate they get paid for warranty work.I know this because i had ngk tr6's in and a week later one of them #5 got fried.

The intercooler replacement calls for replacement of upper intake and new intercooler only. No lower intake,sorry. The upper intake is a new design to work w/ the exsisting M112 Eaton blower and to work with the bigger intercooler which does fit into the lower intake. Your current M112 has a different bolt patteren than the 01/02 lower intake even though the blowers are internally identical. The repair also call for inspection and if needed replacement of your spark plugs. If you intercooler has leaked at any time I would demand new plugs regardless. I had a problem w/ my ford dealer because they told me that spark plugs were not included. If you have this problem call SVT at 1800FORDSVT as I did and they will take care of that problem.
