Post Truck has a bad shudder!!!!!

Its a 2001 lightning
I was on the freeway yeserday and gave it a pretty good boost and got a major shudder vibration the whole time my foot was in it!!!!
It stopped immediatly after i let up just a tad and if i accelerate slowly it does not happen.
Olny happens at wot around 55-60 mph.
Will pull chip tonight, will it be ok to run my truck a day or so without it and my other mods still on hte truck??
It was a bad shudder vibration,it freaked me out!!!!
Well the chip is out and the shudder is even worse!
The truck runs fine and dandy at normal acceleration everthing looks and feels fine till you give it some gas and it shudders like a mofo every time now,it seems like it happens when it downshifts or something.
I have almost a half tank of this gas and its 93 so ill try to cruise it all out befor i get all freaked out!
My tech is gonna put it on a tester so maybe we will get something pointing in the right direction!!!
Any info appeciated!

I've had this problem twice. Once, it was a bad chip that fried the 'puter. The second time I think it was a coil pack.

Maybe a driveshaft problem or loose exhaust pipes?

I posted a similar question and everyone believed it to be my stock muffler not able to handle the pressure. Should I check these other areas instead??

This is a much more violent vibration, more like a shudder, and only at wot aceleration.
Its either the gas or a coil pack.
She goes back to the shop on monday!

Change the fuel filter, I have no idea if this is the problem, but it helped me with a similar problem.

I'd rather run myslef over with my truck than take it back to my dealer. Actually, I'd rather run over my dealer.

Cool

Check the plugs. #5 most of all. Mine did that when it hit drive once and O/D another time. The champion plugs I was trying failed in #5 cylinder.
