| Guest | I have a Python alarm system and I had the remote start installed as well. The alarm system I have is made by DEI for Python. You buy an alarm and can configure it with "options". The remote start feature was an addition $150 and about another $60 in labor. Well worth the money. Your current Ford keyfob cannot accomodate remote start. |

| Guest | I would not use the factory key fods, I have one in my 96 Exlorer, when we first got it in the factory key fobs the code buttons on the door did not work, and when we remote started the car and it was running I could not unlock the doors with the key fob, and then we went back to have them use there key fob and know it works just right, and ours is a DEI system. |

| Guest | I have my remote on my(factory) key fob and I have no problem at all. In fact I can even do settings with the key fob. Example: When it gets real cold I can set the truck to start every 4 hoursfor 4 minutes automatically all through my key fob(obviously outside). Installed by dealer. ------------------ 2001 RED L 20 inch chrome rep. one -two drop More to come |

| Guest | I would think they would have to defeat the Securilock system to make it work. ------------------ '00 Red Lightning, Power Surge Performance enhanced, 375 RWHP, 445 RWTQ, 12.617@108.52 Track Videos |
