Post Question to4 pound lower pulley users

I just ordered the 4 pounder from Johnny Lightning. Question is, how much of a difference did you notice? I currently have a chip and panel filter installed.

You will see a great difference from the stock pulley. Just look at my sig. I did notice some pinging when it is cold so I will be replacing the plugs today with NGK BR7ES.

Let's just say you'll have a smile from ear to ear. You'll notice a big gain in throttle response and gobs of lowend torque. You won't be dissatisfied. Good Luck-Neil

Master of Pain,
You better send your chip back to John for a reburn on the pulley and also the cold weather. I believe he has new updated files.
The 4# is going to eat your tires off so you better go ahead and by some replacements.LOL
You ought to think about getting JL's filter kit also and get rid of the stock air box.
I switched from a PSP 2# to a JL 3# and gained about .15 in the 1/4. I could tell the extra power with 1# of boost, so you better watch out with 4#'s, it will come out from under you.

I saw a really nice gain, with seat of the pants and track times. I also only get 10.5 mpg with my current setup...that sucks

A local 01 owner has the 4lb pulley and JL chip. He ran a 12.97@105 on F1's a week or two ago.

Cool

I gained 3 tenths and over 3 mph going from a 2# lower to JL's 4# lower (and cooler weather). I am considering the 5#...

Oh, and I agree, get the air filter kit!

And now I need to find a home for the 2# lower I have...

I can't stop drooling. Pulley, pulley, pulley. A round disc of aluminum... MMMM. 12.4's are very respectable, indeed faster than some 80's sportbikes.

So the killer combination appears to be:

1. Chip
2. Lower Pulley
3. Airbox Kit

Ok guys, thanks.

Since everyone is going to a #4, any of you want to sell your #3 for a 01?

Please e-mail me at DJANIMATE@AOL.COM if you do.

All you have done is those 3 mods and your trucks running 12.4's!!!

Thats sick! you need to get that on tape for a record or something cause I've never heard of a 01 L with that few mods running that fast!
