Thumbs up

Should have posted this about 20 years ago. I lived in West Islip then. I don't get back there much anymore since my mom and her husband moved from Babylon to Florida about 5 years ago. My sister is in Montauk and I have a brother in northern NJ.

And is 231 still the local drag strip?

Hey Bimota where in W. islip did you live ? I grew up in W.Islip. My mother still lives there on Sherman Ave. across from the Junior High School. 231 is still the place to hang . I'm 32 now and I still come home from work down 231 and I still have to teach these import kids lessons . I love the looks on there faces when a big red truck comes along and kicks them in the ***

Cool

I lived down the end of Oak Neck Lane from 7th - 12th grade. Then over by Eppig's Florist for a couple of years before moving to California in 1980. Is Sherman Ave. right across from Beach St (?) Junior High, just a few blocks from WI High? Any older brothers or sisters who would have graduated from High School around 1978? This is too weird.

E-mail me off list if you would rather.

Regards,
-Steve
