Question Tune Up?

I have a 99L with about 31k mi. I bought the truck with 18k and am not sure if there were any tune-ups done prior to it being in my possession. I change the oil every 3k and check all the fluids, but now comes the time for the major tune up (30k). Will it hurt if I wait until 35k? Should I not run it too hard until the tune-up? What other maintenance tips are recommended between major tune-ups? Thanks in advance.

just my .02, but i'd pull a plug & check it at least. you never know what kind of driving it incurred when it wasn't in your grasp!!!! if they look ok, i'd leave 'em. i would recommend a trans. service, peak at the gear lube, & DEFINITELY a fuel filter. check the a/f of course too.

One thing I would do is change the fuel filter. I have changed mine twice allready.

I would also change the transmision fluid and filter.
