Question Collector/insurance/info

Does anyone have there truck under a collector car/truck insurance policy? I have a 2000 silver L2 that I drive maybe once every two weeks or so, and I am researching if I can get collectors insurance on this truck being that it only goes out 3 times a month or so, and it is not a daily driver, I would appreciate some info on someone who has or has had please Thanks!

i have had collector's insurance on a couple of cars, and it is generally very restrictive as to how many miles you can drive, where you can drive, etc. These were on '60s cars. The L is insured as a F-150 basically, so I don't know that there would be a huge difference in cost

Look into having it covered as a "pleasure" vehicle. Only driven part time. Shouls save you a few $$. Not sure if it qualifies as a true collector car.
