Smile Lowered 2000 L Ride Quality...

This question goes out to anybody who has lowered there 1999 or 2000 L... I was just wondering how does the truck ride??? The stock ride is pretty good, so I just wanted to know what you guys thought... Also please give me some suggestions on what company makes the best lowering kit... Also do you guys have a front camber problem after you lowered the vehicle... Thanks for your help...

I lowered my 2001 rear by 2" using the AIM rear shackles. It now sits level and rides like a stocker and handles a bit better.

Thumbs up

Silver00L:

I lowered my truck 3/3 using the BellTech 3/4 kit. You can set the rear on either a 3' drop or 4' drop, the 3' drop puts the truck level. the ride quality is stiffer than stock but very livable. I went with the Herb washers and cam bolt kits when the alignment was done. They claimed to get it in the specs, but I am not sure. I might bring it somewhere else to see how it is.

How did lowering effect traction? I just ordered 4.10s and now I'm worried about tire spin.

L Quick:

With 410's you should be worried If I nail it at 20 or under I spin all of first and all of second and have chirped third a few times. so with 410;1 rear end gear good luck
