| Guest |  Picked Up New 2001 L I am new to this forum, but I have been checking out the topics since early Sept. when I was thinking about a 2000 L. As time went by and I found out more info from post to this forum, the 2001 was looking like the one I wanted. After seeing the red 2001 L at the SEMA show here in Las Vegas, the 01 was what I wanted. I placed my order for a white (a lot of sun here)2001 on November 17th, but I realy wanted a black. Dealer tells me last week the that my production date will be some time in March and I should receive first of April. I get a call late last week saying that they have a black 2001 in for another order and would I like to see the truck. YES!!! Long story short. Person that placed order had problems working out a deal with dealer and they call me yesterday to see if I would like the Lightning. YES!!! Worked deal and picked truck up in rain last night. The fastest so far, i love it. #3962 of 4966, DOB-6/16/00, Ontario Canada. 7000 glorious miles  K&N air. Crossfire amps, JL-XR's, VR's & 10W0 sub. Clear corners with bright whites ordered. Lighted Ford logos. Altezza tails, contemplating. '93 Lightning for awhile, black. and 96 others... |

| Guest | 01ARRESTMERED--Was not able to deal in this area, paid MSRP, but got reduced loan rate and hard cover and bed liner at dealer cost. Some dealers in this area (Las Vegas) were marking up 2000s 2 to 4k. I look at a used 2000 white L that the dealer wanted 36k. The dealer was Ford Country at the Henderson, Valley Auto Mall, good to work with, but would not discount SVT vehicles. So MSRP is better that 2 to 5k over. Blackbolt01 - the camera is a Olympus 2020 (2.1 megapexials) Olympus nolonger makes this camera but, the 3000 or 3030 are great cameras. The rain has stoped here so I have had time to play, no hard driving, all I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it runs great!!!! |
