Post New Problem!

Hey guys, and gals, I was going to work yesterday and got half way there and started hearing a tapping noise from the roof. The faster i went the loader it got. Turns out the windshield ruber seal at the top has come loose from the windshield. I pushed it back down and it popped right back up at 70 MPH. I left a message with my service wrighter but he never called back. guess he was busy with the tire recall. Anybody else have this problem? I was told the windshield had to come out to fix it.

Cool

Well, we had a simialr problem on the L1s. If you look at some of them, they blew the Lightning decals right off the sides of the bed

Must be a Lightning thing.

Same thing happened to me. The texas heat softened the silicone and a good 120mph run ripped it right off. Dealer fixed it under warranty.

Greetings, Took delivery of my redL last Mon. and on the way home @ around 50MPH I blew my windshield rubber from the top. Put it back in and it keeps coming out!! Called the dealer and and informed him. It is a 100 mile trip he said to Urethane it in!!! They would Pay me back for the product. NOT! boy what a mess when that comes out all over the top. Found at Wall-mart a Heavy Duty Adheasive "WELDER" Clear and has directions for automotive repair to the window stripping. I posted in the Gen1 early today for feedback? Any thoughts
