Exclamation Windshield rubber problem

Hi everyone, I'm a new member with NLOC I own a black 94 L. I also am part owner of a glass shop. Your problem is caused by the factory robot that shoots the poly-uretane seal around the windshield. Note I said robot or machanical arm, not man, anyway the arm is loaded with so much urethane some times it gets air pockets when in use creating, what we call a void spot on the vechile, meaning it ran a bead put shot out air instead. You DO NOT need your windshield replaced!!!!! This is a false. You do need a glass technian to simply remove the windshield moulding and reseal it with a urethane seal called ESSEX U-418 please don't use a hardware clear or black silicone of any type. If you need some urethane call me I will see that your truck if sealed properly. I hoped I help. Look forward to seeing some of you at the svt reunion in Tennessee. Thanks Brian beard@apex.net

Greetings brian, Thanks for your impute on the windshield rubber problem. I did not use the silicone product to seal mine today!! After your post of course. but I used a product called toluene 108-88-3. Brian I also found that this product is used in the 3M Windo-Weld Urethane products. My question is as a professional do you feel the toluene is ok? thanks
