| Registered User | Most tunable EEC to start with? I have been searching and didn't find much. I have E4OD so it looks like if i stay SD my choices are C3P1, C3P2, C3P3, ICY1. If i go MA my choices are HUG2, VEX1, WAY1, BI00. I will be using a EEC-Tuner, i have been using the tuner for over 7 years on my own car and also e-mail tune the Ford thunderbird SCs and other weird supercharged-turbo cars. I have never tried SD tuning and really dont care either way. The junk yards around me are huge and im sure i could convert to MA for under $100 bucks. My future mods are a 408 stroker mild built for low end pulling power and the truck is a 97 F-250 HD. So what EEC gives you the most control when it comes to tuning? Is there any difference in the transmission stragies between the older E4ODs and the one in my 97? I was told there is a difference in the solenoid pack between years. |

| Registered User | After posting this i realized it was a quick easy way out. I am going to be doing the research myself and will post my findings here. My plan is to get all the Dat files for the tunable EECs available and see how they compare. Also to see which ones can also be tuned with the GUI. I could use some help if anyone has stock bins for HUG2-AKCO-ICY1 i found the rest. Also if any GUI guys have the Bin 1&8 send them my way bbitner@fast.net |
