and i get my belt at napa.... but oreillys sells them 2
this is what i use to run and had slip like a mofo if you look at pics you can see the caked up belt dust

so then i had a spacer milled down and moved it closer so now it really wraps the pulley

here is pic of it finished up
where did you get that pulley on the blower? i have a kit almost identical to that one but its only a 6 rib setup but i have a pretty sweet tensioner on it and it is snug like a mofo, but it is spring loaded and adjustable about 270*

When I had my Novi 2000, my best setup as far as belt slip was with this 12 rib setup, it actually used two 6 rib belts. The nice thing is you can get pretty much any size in 6 rib where a 10 or 12 rib belt lengths are sketchy at best. You will have some nice belt traction with this one. The 12 rib lower pulley is a procharger setup

The pic is kind of an optical illusion, the bottom pulley is 7.75" in diameter, actually it is smaller than the 8 rib renegade vortech pulley next to it. On my Novi through PSD intercooler it made a tad more than 15psi, the psd intercooler robbed 5psi so the blower was actually producing about 20psi with a 3.25 upper

be careful with the 12 rib setups and tension.......you need a really durable harmonic balancer to take it......

Excellant point Paul, I remember bending the hub on my stock balancer, never had a problem with my SFI unit though. That is a huge lever arm out there.

we had a procharged fox with a 12 rib d1 and a stock balancer. it was throwing belts......i made a bracket brace using threaded rod ends. now it began tearing the balancer right off the crank. did this 2 times. i mean the hub of the balancer was still on the crank!!! i gness my brace worked pretty good!
