I've never encountered traction problems in past nor have I experienced the one wheel peel. I have already had it rebuilt once before. I think the severe wheel hop during a couple of the burnouts cause it to crack. I need traction bars to stop the wheel hop I get doing a burnout.

It will still be fair because I have never had a tire spin issue at all.

Ok guys I've had the 4.56's in for about 6 hours. I've already logged 150 miles and about 100 of them were highway. I cruise just a needle width below 70 on my stock speedo. It's a little slow because of my taller than stock rear tires, so that's just about 70mph dead on. I'm hitting right on the 2500 rpm mark on my tach. My gas mileage does not appear to have been altered, but i'm going to have to log more hwy miles to know for sure. When the truck was fairly stock I had a hard time spinning the 285's but I could still get them the go on the steet. Then I did the HO cam swap and couldn't break them loose at all. At best I would get a long screech but no real wheel spin. Now, it's better than before it was stock! I can finally get some real, non power braking, smoke to billow from a dead stop. If I just had a good Punisher vb I could easily keep them spinning through second gear. It just shifts so sloppy that it allows it to catch traction on the 1-2 shift. It's awesome, and I can see myself driving it like I stole it for a good while! I'm going to try and make it to the track next Wed, but it may have to wait a little longer than that because I may have to work late this next Wed. It would really be nice to see a reduction in et. I have yet to pull a loaded trailer with the gears, but I'm gure it will make things even easier to get rolling.
