May I ask how much you would want for the complete kit? That is exactly what I am looking for. PM if you want.

There is not question that is forign object damage. Rebuild the V2. Dont buy another blower without considering going turbo. My V1 s-trim broke and I went turbo and I will never go back. I have 3 turbo cars now(1 truck). No Belt, no snout stress, simple to adjust boost, boost sooner(esp. after gear changes).

How fast were you spinning the blower? From being in the field; that looks like it would probably be bearings and a gearset along with the impeller.

I will say one thing calulate 5800RPM with the 8.0 and 3.15 upper Ain't no way you gonna make a 10 second pass unless you are over 5800 in third gear
You are running the stock 4.10 gear in the rear right???

The V1 and V2 compressers have different calculation speeds .. I was spinning over 50,000 most of the time

Vortec has had my blower for 2 weeks now and they still can't tell me what it will cost to repair it. The impeller nut backed off the shaft and was sucked back into the blades. Looked just like yours. (minus the nut) Sent it in and nada......still waiting. Their customer service leaves some to be desired.

Holy crap that sucks! You haven't had that truck long enough to break it.
