It's been fun!

Well, I did it... I sold my 94 Lightning. I had her for 8yrs, learned alot and had alot of fun. I teared up as she drove away but she has a good new owner.

On the flip side, picked up a 67 Galaxie Fastback 390 XL with a built motor, all forged internals, balanced and blue printed, Edelbrock Performer heads and intake with a big lopey cam. Car dynoed 425 HP and 451 TQ. Mechanically in real good condition but needs some love inside and out. Car also has a toploader 4 speed fully built with all RAM parts and a Lakewood Bellhousing... FUN FUN FUN to come!

It's been real guys, I'll be around... GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!

Hate to see someone go. But enjoy your new toy and maybe someday you'll be back.

390 motors

That Galaxie will be fun for you. The 390 heads were not very good, small valves and flowed poorly. New heads really wakes that 390 up, so you should be good to go with that 4 speed and all. Have fun. Post up your times...

Guy named Warren in Katy, gonna use it to pull his T-type Grand National.

Here are some pics of my new car and a little more information.

It has it's original 390 FE engine which has been built up to 425 HP. It is a factory 4 speed car with top loader transmission. I have the Marti Report. It is 1 of 753 with this engine/transimission combination. Original color is Clearwater Aqua and car needs a repaint. Car is very straight with solid rear quarters, rocker panels, trunk pan and bottom of doors. The car had a vinyl roof and there are some rust issues near the back window on the sail panels that will need repair. It has black bucket seat interior which is original and in great shape for a car 40 years old. A couple of small tears in the upper portion of the drivers seat and on the door panels. Carpet and headliner need replacing. Dash has some cracks. This car runs and drives excellent with tremendous power. The engine dyno-ed at 425 HP and 451 ft pounds torque. I have receipts for over $12,000 in engine and mechanical work. The engine was professionally built by American Racing balanced and blue-printed with the best in performance parts.

Parts include:
Edelbrock 6005/06 Performer Aluminum Heads

Edelbrock 7105 Performer RPM Aluminum Intake

Holley Double Pumper 4 barrel Carburetor

Holley 12-832 High Output Heavy Duty Mechanical Fuel Pump

JE Forged Pistons

K&R Rods

Competition Cams 1046 Aluminum Roller Rocker Arms

Edelbrock 7106 Performer Cam – Duration 296/296 325/325 Lift

MSD 8594 Pro-Billet Distributor

MSD 6420 High Performance Ignition System w/Rev Control and Blaster 2 Coil

Ram Clutch 1519 184-Tooth Billet Flywheel

Ram Clutch 306 11” Disc 300 Series

Ram Clutch 437 Pressure Plate

Hooker 6130 Super Competition Headers with Dynomax Ultra Flow Mufflers through 3" Stainless pipes

Milodin 31130 7 qt. Deep Front Sump Oil Pan

Front Sway Bar

New Ball Joints

New Lower Control Arm Bushings, Strut Rod bushings and Upper Link Bushings

New Shocks Front and Back

New Coil Springs

Tilton Standard Duty Super Mini Starter
