Thumbs down Snow

8 inches of snow fell here overnight. Anyone else get dumped on? I'm ready for Spring...

Doh.....should have been Almost Anything Goes. Oh well, maybe my truck in the pic counts as Gen1 content?

Later,

About 11" so far here about 22 miles southeast of Charlotte. UGH...it wasnt so bad when I had my old SHO. But with the stangs and the Lightnings it blows. I borrowed my friends beater to go mess around in. (89 MX 6 mazda)

Wow, I can't believe it. Everyone north of us has gotten snow, everyone south of us has gotten snow. But, here in Maryland, none at all, just cold weather I'm dreading snow, my firehawks hate the rain, they're going to cry in the snow (as they're sliding sideways into trees)

Yeah, where else could one drive a 5-liter Mustang (or Lightning) all winter long on bald tires?!? Fortunately, the truck has decent tires right now and I'll be alright for the next few days.

Why don't you make yourself useful and go buy a wideband or something. I could use it.

Snow has came and gone for the second time. The best part about it hear in Oklahoma is it snows one day and melts the next. Also my new BFG's ate the snow up and spitted it out. They hanndeled alot better than I expected.

sadly, it warmed up to about 20 today, so what little snow we have up here will soon be gone. I Bought a 94 polaris indy 440 (snowmobile) in august and have been dying for some decent storms, but so far we've had nothing, although, it finally did get chilly enough to freeze the lakes enough to venture out on to them over christmas, nothing like crusin' on a sled over a frozen lake.

We got about 10"-12" here in the carolinas. Go figure. I have some pics and will be posting them when I get home tonight. Was quite an interesting drive this morning coming to work. Lots of hills. Kinda fun though cause the tail end kinda sits out there just a bit while it spins but made it up just fine. Gotta love these Yokohamas. Have some video of my friends and I playing around in a parking lot but it's kinda hard to see. It's quite a new feeling for me doing donuts in a truck. BTW Watch out for that second gear it's a dousy.

Abby,
can't beat the heated garage, and once you get used to the cold, it's not bad, just gotta dress right. I figure i gotta live here so I might as well enjoy it. It's amazing how warm 20 feels after a couple days of 0.

We got about an inch around Christmas and that was it. So we like being able to drive the L's around for a little longer.

Thundrn_Lightning,
Why did you park your truck in a snow bank? Get a truck cover, or a garage.
Ken
