Post I dun messed up bad

My truck is knocking and deep down in my sinking stomach I know it's something real bad this time. Right before it "went" I was accelerating a good amount maybe 3/4 throttle. It was not deatonating at all. I know it's something bad. It's idleing horible seems like one or more cyl. are not fireing. In drive and stopped, like at a light, it wants to die out. I don't even want to think about it now. I havn't really gotten into what it could be, and I really don't want to think about it. I was just starting to have fun with it again, then it breaks on me. I don't know why it treats me like ****. I drive it hard sometimes but I don't beat on it, I always fix whats wrong with it. It's times like this I wish I was born a chess nerd or something, this is just too much for me right now.

Someone just shoot me.

I have no garage and I live in chicago, nuf said. Anything is a pain in the ***. It's ****ing 20* out 10* when it's dark and snowing most the time. I can endure it for little things, but this is gonna take some takeing **** apart. I'd have to wait till it warms up some and then I would be missing out on raceing and haveing fun, and I did that the end of last year when I popped the head gasket. I don't have ****ing money for this either. Christmas sucks. What the hell good is a holiday that leaves you broke for months?

Maybe I can build a big tent to put over it? If I had a garage like marcus or even a tiny one the thing would alreay be apart and I wouldn't sweat it so much. Even little things are a major ****ing pain in the *** when your hands freeze every 15 minutes.

Cool

man, i hear ya on that one. i grew up in Northren Minnesota. we used to just pull whatever it was right into the barn to even change the plugs. matter of fact, if ya parked the wrong way (into the wind) at night, your car was guaranteed not to start the next morning...the radiator would be clean froze over, and it was next to impossible to even open the hood.

im talkin 60 below zero, with the windchill factor figured in here

and to think im even considering taking a job inb Alasksa this summer

First figure out which cylinder(s)isn't hitting also check fluid levels & condition for contamination(ex: coolant in oil). If its knocking I'd suspect a spun bearing, if you remove the oil filter and cut it open if a bearing did spin there will metal in the filter pleats. Your miss could be a bad plug, injector, plug wire, head gsk, push rod/rocker arm come out. Do some testing and get back to us.
