| Guest | ok, time for round 3, or is it 4...perhaps 5? i dunno... regardless, i brought her in for the blower install (finally) and am gonna do a few other things since im in there tearin' stuff up... -new fuse block for fans and stuff -new higher flow water pump -new timing chain -tiny exhaust leak -TPS voltage -IAC motor -ported GT40 lower -a serious diet -and the blower so far, ive just now tore her down, and was frankly amazed at the play in the timing chain. i dont know how many 100,000+ mile trucks are out there, but im willing to bet there are more with the same 2" of play in your timing chain (eeeck). if ya get the cahnce, give it a look, you might be suprised ![]() ------------------ '93 Lightning -all the bolt-ons -Jacobs ignition -full exhaust -Level 10 tranny -TFS Stage II heads -Kenne Bell Blowzilla -357 Long-Rod on the brain... if i stop runnin, the evil little clowns will get me... | Guest | hey man, your in Ft. meyers? dam dude, i was there not long ago. and will be again as a matter of fact. ive gotta ferry a twin-engine down there from Dallas soon. 75034 is my zip. as for the Blowzilla, i got a killer deal on it...second hand, of course. is there any other way? ![]() as for the oomph, it all depends on which pulley you put on it. this setup came with the 8, 12, and 15# pullies. ive heard of increases of 80-120hp, but no-one i know of has used much more than than a 10# pulley with much success...yet ![]() ...theres a few things im gonna try and see what transpires ![]() [This message has been edited by Muddmann (edited 01-06-2002).] |
