| Guest | Please clarify: #1 Lightning cranks are steel with large radii, cross drilled for better lubrication, chamfered oil holes. #2 Same as stock 351 windsor cast crank. Does anyone know for sure. Dealership doesn't have any special part number for Lightning crankshaft. Need to know..... |

| Guest | If Lightning cranks were not special than I would not have had to send the pistons that I ordered back to Summit. They were for a regular 351W and the skirt of the piston would have struck the crankshaft if I had used them. I think there is a difference. If it is not the crank it self it is the rods.. |

| Guest | The entire rotating assembly is standard Ford 351 fare. Nothing special at all in the motor. Heads, cam, and intake are the special parts. ------------------ Later! Jeff S.
