Cool Superior Wood Dash Kit

I've had this kit for a couple of years. I got a digital camera several months ago and realized I had never taken a picture of the dash, so here it is. The dark/light look of the wood is the camera flash, it is all same darkness for the walnut I chose. Oh yea, I removed the billet grill and replaced with stock grill for those who are use to seeing my billet.(I'm hanging on to it, I may go back to it someday) I also put on the Lightning decals instead of having the striping that I had.

Yeah i had my billet grill on for about 3 hours before i decided it wasn't the right look.

Those clear corners look awesome on a shiny black truck.

I'm not sure about the wood dash - it looks like a good fit, but the L just has too much cheapy plastic everywhere inside to contrast with the nice wood.

Overall nice truck, and what are you packing along with that PD to get so deep into the 13s?

I actually would have gone 12.90's but on that run of 13.01 I forgot to turn off the OD. I took my truck from high 13's to where it is now through some weight reduction (spare tire, tailgate, heavy rubber mat in bed, front and rear sway bars removed) I then got a 2800 stall with MT ET streets (13.50 x15 on 10" rims) I then put in 104 octane unleaded gas and set the base timing at 14 degrees with boost retard on 0 and bingo, my times fell sharply. My 60 ft is low 1.8's on a prepped track. I have a complete rebuilt engine from another block after the other one grenaded a piston. It was roller converted with a custom Comp cam and rollers that still runs on speed density and 19 lb injectors. Forged pistons were installed this time so I hope it will hold up better.

Hey R.W., that don't look like the truck I saw! Looks like a different one with the same wheels! It is looking REAL good!

Do you know if the wood dash pieces can be ordered seperatly? Thanks!

Sam, I really like the change of the look too. Here is the site for Superior Wood dash site. http://www.superiordash.com/ I got mine before they had a website. I called and they sent me samples of the wood available. At that time, just some of the pieces could be bought separately. You could call and ask. On the site I don't see prices. It has been a couple of years ago but I believe the whole kit was around $200.00, I really can't recall the exact amount. It is real wood with 3M tape on back and I have never had any problem with them. The long strip that goes across to passenger side also has 3 small screws along with the tape.

Nice interior mod.
I added a wood dash kit to my truck about 5 years ago. They really improve the interior of the truck and even darken it up alittle. I went with the kit by a company called "Wabbits" they make all types of wood kits. Real wood and they screw into place.
