Post installing autometer gauges

I should get my pod tomorrow or monday so I was looking at my boost and fuel pressure gauges. I mounted the sending unit for the fuel pressure gauge no problem. The fuel pressure gauge looks pretty simple. I had one question about the boost gauge though. Where do you tie in at? Do I use the connectors that came with the gauge? Thanks for any help!

Sam, you will use what autometer sends you then you will have to visit the hardware store and get some brass fittings.
Here is what you need:
a small brass tee female all around to fit the adapter and ferrule that is in your kit(take it to the harware store) then on the other ends I put in threaded(plastic) vacuum(boost) hose connectors and spliced into the boost line that goes to the hobbs switch.
Hope this helps

Another question. I got ultra-lites with the silver faces to go with my white face dash gauges. Should I leave the clear light bulb alone, or put the green cover over it?

LZ: could you take some pics of how you end up setting up the boost gauge tubing, and the FP wiring?

I used the green in my Autometer guages, they have the stock illumination look.

Dumb question, but with the Autometer gauges, is there a green cover that they sell? I have the plain Z-series black gauges and would love to have green backlighting.

Thanks,

Litl Sam, if you have the gauges that we ordered from NuImage that light up blue then you should order the blue bulb covers from auotmeter.
