| Guest | I have an aeromotive adjustable FPR. When I turn the ignition "on", but don't start the motor, my fuel pressure goes to 42psi, then decreases to 25 psi in about a minutes time, and slowly keeps going down. I was wondering if this is supposed to do this or not. Part of the aeromotive pitch is that the regulator re-seats after shut down to prevent heat soak. Any ideas? Thanks! | Guest | Mine does the exact same thing with the Aeromotive FPR. I was told it was the injectors might be leaking, but Ive had 3 different sets of injectors installed and all of them had the same results. I think it might be the regulator bleeding down after shut-down. ------------------ Rod K. '93 Lightning #1529 NLOC #675 13.27 @ 101.55 Au Natural 12.67 @ 102.52 Kinda juiced.. | Guest | Thanks Rod, I was hoping it was just the regulator bleeding. I haven't noticed any poblems with the spark plugs being wet, so I figured it was either the FPR or the check valve for the dual tanks. I have the Auto Meter fuel pressure gage and also noticed that the needle sometimes drops approx. 5 psi and then goes back up to 42, all very suddenly...hopefully that's just the sending unit.
