The computer is located on the drivers side below the cruise servo. It is a bulkhead connector with sevral wires. You have to remove the inner fender on the drivers side to remove it.There are two bolts holding the computer in and one bolt in the center for the connctor. Then check on the back side of the ECU it will be plugged into the rear.Make shure you disconnect the battery.

Cool

hey man,

the computer is actually behind the driver side kick panel...inside the cab.

to check for a chip,
-pull the kick panel out (remove forward phillips screw from sill plate...and the plastic plug from center of panel, use flathead screwdriver of pair of dykes for stubborn plug)
-then, loosen the E-brake assembly (3 each 14mm nuts...if i remember correctly) slide it to the right, out of the way, and the access port to the computer will be staring you in the face.

if you have a chip, itll be plugged into that port, if not, all youll see is the factory access cover.

if you dont have one, and want one, let me know. i happen to have one laying around thats for a '93

Muddmanns right you don't have to take the inner fender out, just the kick panel on the drivers side.
